Blah!

I lack inspiration

To write my thoughts onto the paper

Too lazy to type on the computer

I lack the will

Which is needed to be consistent

The dream in my eyes

Which will keep me persistent

I hope one day that

A bolt of lightening

Will hit my pretty head

And fill up my brain

With bright ideas, and not burn it instead

I pray and I hope

That these few lines

Will help me get over my ‘block’

And make me a girl who doesn’t just talk!

Well fitting clothes

What the hell is wrong with the people?? I mean…have they really gone blind??? Ok…before I continue freaking out, I must tell you what prompted it in the first place.

Today, while on my way to college I spotted this girl walking on the footpath…and I was stunned to say the least. Why? Oh cuz she was wearing the weirdest assortment of dress ever!

Not that I am aware of the …deviances… but then again everyone has their limit. Usually, I will ignore such...badly (?)…nope…not-so-immaculately dressed people, though I find it hard to resist my urge to rush to them and shake them out of the nightmare they seem to have never woken up from.

So…coming back to my trigger-I saw this girl who was wearing a pink kameez with white slacks and maroon running shoes!!!!

I wouldn’t have bothered, but she looked from a well to do family (cuz she was carrying a Nike bag, and the shoes were original Puma…and I know an original piece when I see one!)

Why are people hell bent on looking so pathetically dressed? With all due respect to individuality…even a style demand a bit of neatness and a flow (or trend…as in every piece of clothing should go with each other). And then they say clothes speak. Of course they do, so does the accessories dear and the attitude with which one can carry their dress. But then…where they do go wrong are the limits and set norms with it. If you are as well dressed like me, then you are a bimbo. If you are a feminist, then you are supposed to wear all grey-tones boring dresses or be a Fab-India product (I like Fab India stuff) and look all brooding, intimidating and cigarette smoking types (I have been informed that they don’t fake orgasm to please a man as they think that its against being a woman to fake to boost their ego but they will have orgasm reading Virginia Woolf). Why can’t a well dressed person be a feminist too? Why do a feminist have to look like an anti-social person all the time?

But society will remain the same. Once they have fixed the boundaries, they freaking stick to it! I mean what is wrong with wearing a Mango top, with Calvin Klein Jeans, Charles and Keith black ballerinas teemed up with really cool accessories and still have some brain cells in your head? For them I am a bimbo who can’t be a feminist!!

Apparently the world goes around with whatever “men” think is right or wrong. They don’t know that if we want, we can tuck them up in our pockets and use them as the grovelling slaves. I mean, what did Helen of Troy need to wage a war?? Her beauty (and charms and body, but the point is that the whole world praised her beauty before they could experience further). Thus it proves that beauty is important and not something to be dismissed. Clothes form a part of that beauty. There is nothing wrong with wearing a well-fitted dress with matching accessories to make a point to the world. I know that you will be better noticed if you do just that.

And if some dorky fella tells you that beauty is not skin deep, well ask him to stuff his advice up his ass cuz he will be the first one to ogle at the hot girl. With all due respect to golden hearted people, the theory of beautiful heart and soul came before the invention of cosmetics, gyms and well-fitted clothes. Now they are at your disposal, so buck up you lazy bones as not only will they make you look beautiful but also gives you confidence to face the world and ask all the assholes around you to fuck themselves. (I say this as I know everyone is surrounded by the hypocritical assholes all the time!)

Pink

I was really surprised to realise the general perception of the color pink. Undauntedly, it is synonymous with – blondes! (I am a brunette). And blondes are stereotyped as- girly, dumb and slut.

I agree that it is a feminine color, but ‘girly’? What the heck do you mean by that? Oh yeah…I know! ‘Girly’ means a giggling-without-reason, don’t-have-brains-to-save-their-ass, damsel in distress…in short bimbos! Fuck you! You people don’t even know the basic difference between feminine and bimbo-ness. No wonder, the guys take so much time to realise their true feeling about a girl. And they complain that we are pressurising them to do something which is very trivial to them! “Of course I like you…why would I spend time with you anyway? I don’t know what’s wrong with you. You want me to spit out everything I feel!!!” Yes, I do….is it too much to ask for?

(I guess, some things are quite apparent to the readers, and am hoping that they will understand!)

Anyhow…weirdly I have come to this conclusion. Pink does help to understand the intellect of a man. How will a man really react to a pink-dressed woman? Hmm….well after a lot of hard staring, research on men-psychology and study of body language, I have come to the conclusion that the initial reaction is the same- ‘it’s pink’…but what really matters is how they behave to the person wearing pink.

I have friends, who have the same reaction to pink color, but then they do respect me, and even if they are surprised that I have brains, that too a functional one, they are smart enough not to say it aloud.

Pink, to me is a power color. No not in the Legally-Blonde way. Pink is a sign that I am feminine, I indulge in feminine pleasures once in a while, read Cosmo and Vogue…but I am aware of my power, the position from where I can speak up for millions of women, fight for them and represent them.

And above all I like pink! Deal with it!
